A Poem of Procrastination

wait

and pause

and wait again.

look. once more begin

eyes glaze over, rub face

scratch my head, stare into space

type out a few words clickity clack

stare at page-it stares back

perhaps some lunch will help

drag food from shelf

reinspired, I hope

retry? – nope

wait…
