Women in History

I think my head has finally stopped spinning from a very busy week last week. We had soccer camp every day all day. I also had an evening activity on three of those nights. That is a lot for us.

The other day on Facebook one of the pages that I’m a fan of posed the question, “If you could have dinner with any woman past or present, who would it be and why?”

Someone said Mother Theresa. Someone else said Joan of Arc. Good answers, of course.

My first reply was Oprah and Maya Angelou if I can have two.

But, then I got thinking about it and changed my answer.

If I could have dinner with any woman past or present ever i would choose to have dinner with my Grandma. Because I miss her and would love to be able to share and relate with her as an adult.

I have that feeling very often myself. Not being able to tell her about my day or things going on in my life is the most difficult part…even after 12 years.
