I’ve recently been turned on to Spoken Word Poetry. I’ve been watching a lot of it on (you guessed it) YouTube and what got me started was this talk by Sarah Kay on Ted.com. That’s about 19 minutes long and very good. There are plenty to be found on You Tube, but I really enjoyed This Is My Voice by Shane Koyczan which is only 3 minutes long and very powerful.
