Six Word Friday: Last

Last week I was fine. Healthy.

This week? The Germy Germingtons came.

I am laid low by snot.

But the fever is gone. Yay!

I think a nap is imminent.

At least the Kid is healthy.

Last night my son said, “I

know why people snore. It’s

so they don’t hear other things.”
Then he ran to get something

before he got into bed. It

was the industrial ear protection headphones

he uses sometimes during lawnmowing, vacuuming.

“What are thoseย for?” ย “The snoring.”

“You can’t wear those to bed.”
“If they were the blue ones,

I could!”

Brook – This is wonderful and sooo visual. “Laid low by snot….” is pure genius. And we all know just how it feels!

    Namaste……….cj

PS – Thanks for your comment on “Skye.”
