Six Word Friday: Wisdom

I have no great wisdom today.

and no “pearls” to give away.

I could, perhaps, offer pithy platitudes

designed to uplift-raise your attitudes.

But no. I don’t think so.

I will sit with my sadness.

Because it is not badness.

It is right. It is true

That my heart aches for you.

Mama, Mommy, Mom, Miss Susan Marie

how I wish you could be

here celebrating your birthday with me.

Beautifully put! It’s a tender pain that comes from such love. I bet she gave you some good wisdom.

I love the rhyming by the way.
