I have a love-hate relationship with the squirrels. On the one hand, they are intelligent, interesting little creatures. On the other hand, they gobble up our chicken feed and bird seed … and nothing seems to stop them.

Yeah, this little guy was not at my house. We don’t have chickens right now so the little scurriers in my yard don’t bother me. But, the mice that get in the house drive me batty!

I think squirrels are crazy-adorable.
We don’t have them in our neighborhood.
There may be a correlation there.

The ones where I grew up had (potentially) bubonic plague. But they were still cute. I’ve never heard of that here though.
